How about going there on a holiday for a while to see if you like it?
And if you are between 18 and 30 you could get a working holiday visa wich will allow you to life and work in Japan for 1 year. In this time you could see if its possbile to find a job in your field.
Also getting any job beside teaching english is not easy in Japan and will require alot of work.
