Beyond that, Wikipedia is helpful too http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abe_(surname)

I'm not sure how many you've listed, but it looks to be well over 200. Many, many of them have multiple meanings. It's kind of unreasonable to expect someone to actually answer this question.

For example, Takahashi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There's the Wikipedia entry for Takahashi, which mentions ten different ways of writing it, which means ten different meanings. It also mentions the most popular one as meaning "high bridge."

So that link, for example, shows how much work would actually be involved in answering your question (bordering on impossibility, actually), and it also shows how you could find much of the answer yourself quite easily.

Of course, someone here might actually want to jump in and help you. I'm just giving you what I consider to be the reasonable expectation that you're not going to get help in answering much of the question.
Oh, Nice to see that there are people like you that took your time to reply and try to help me somehow. Even if you didn't translate them, at least you gave me some kind of advice. Thanks very much.

@Supperman:
I'm glad for your help, it's clear to say that it's exactly what they mean.

As for most others, especially BenBullock and Pandaman. GET A LIFE.
