I'd have to say either cloud or zidane simply for character depth, cant help but love every character from both 7 and 9 simply because you can tell the amount of work that has went into their back story and their personality apart from a few offcourse (for example quina who is just all round funny) but I'd think cloud and zidane has the most intense moments in game history (might be a little over the top haha) with zidane giving up on everything and cloud blaming himself, but both coming through the other end to try and save the day :P reminds about how newer games have ruined the whole cinematic thing...such as ff13 were its alot of cut scenes they look impressive but because of the whole lack of dialogue to make you emotionally invested in what happens to a character...just fails :P

AND WOOOOOWWW went overboard with the question there xDDD

and on a lighter note cant get the bonanza bros laugh out of my head and its been 14 years since i first played it haha
