Credit?- The advance payment for work not yet done.
Can he borrow money from his workers to pay them with, and make the payment on his loans? And yet refuse to sell them his property for his own money or credit markers in return?

It's not like there are only the owner and the worker there are much more people around he could borrow money from, also selling his products gives him enough money he doesn't has to sell his land.. For what reason anyways? The money isn't less worth just because he doesn't sell his land and as I said, he could just higher people from another country who work for less and don't have the money to buy it...
And the workers wouldn't be able to farm the farm economically because they don't have the knowledge, machines and workers as the owner of the land has.
To put it simple: There is no reason for the owner to sell it, cause he has enough money and the people have to buy his products or they starve, yet there are enough other people, not including his workers, so there's no problem for him.
When do you think people die?
When they are shot through the heart by the bullet of a pistol?
No.
When they are ravaged by an incurable disease?
No.
When they drink a soup made from a poisonous mushroom?
No!
It's when... they are forgotten.
