Not sure on the likeliness of it though, I think your best bet would to specialise in a type of cuisine there are not many chefs for in Japan, so you are a rare commodity and wanted for it. In order to get hired over a Japanese native chef you have to have everything that they do and a little more on the side.

! I've always wanted to go to Japan!! But, i'm not old enough,and I have to college...yada yada yada. I don't know if you live in japan or if you speak japanese,but do you think learning japanese would be hard for a person that has been speaking spanish and english for 11 years?
