Oh, oops! I think I completely misunderstood that second part...Does it say something such as: "Also, cancellations/returns due to circumstances of the customer are generally not accepted"? Is ご容赦いただいております used to imply rejection?

Also unfortunately I never got the chance to contact them and request a cancellation (They were pretty fast and shipped it before I even got the chance to try!), but just for future reference, how exactly would one politely request such a thing? My personal attempt would be: すみません、注文を間違いしましたがキャンセルはでき ますでしょうか。(I hope that's not completely wrong...)
