Almost in the same situation I've been a long time ago, but I took the risk to talk to her, and she was the best anyone can find in this world and she liked me, a much too weird acting and normal looking guy.

Risk it, if she likes you, you're lucky, if she doesn't, at least you found out that before investing too much feelings into this.
