You've got to look what you're doing no matter who you are. Just the same as a guy has to look to make sure the seat is up, a girl should look before she sits down. As I said, we do this out of courtesy, but that can only go so far before you're just an idiot if you don't look where you sit, and that can be applied to not just bathrooms.
