I guess that's just the reality of the world.

It makes me sick. I would argue that it is racist to some extent. Not you in particular but the way in which we imagine and respond to suffering around the world in general.

We live in a world where people are very often defined by their nation or culture and like anything that can be defined, it can be judged as superior or inferior.

My argument is simply based on the idea that human beings are all equal, and that charity should be afforded to the most needy.
