If other countries will begin to adopt green laws for new homes (like the one in Spain discussed recently, to allow building a new house of over 1.000 square meters only if it has 30 to 70% of the hot water secured by solar panels), maybe will get rid of some of the nuclear add-ons.
Every bit of energy you can use at your home from solar, wind or any regenerative source, can add up, and help cut down the numbers of reactors required.
One example, I use LED lighting outside, in my garden, and on the hallway of my house, powered by a merely 20W, 12 V solar panel paired with a 12A sealed lead acid battery. That way, I cut down on 3 light bulbs of 17W each. This had cost me about 80 dollars, and in 2 years and a half I already recovered that money from the cut-off on my electricity bill. Plus, the Electricity company had to produce with ~ 130kW/year less, only from me (7 hours daily *3 light bulbs of 17W, all year round - I work at home, so clients can come at any hour until 11 pm :P ).

Reverse psychology, "dear Watson", reverse psychology.
"Manganese? Is that manga language?" - lol?
