Our new school year starts from April, so I will ask my students what and how they would like to be friends with your students(?)/kids.

about the earthquake and tsunami...
At the moment, the people and the kids there need the safe places to live and food and water and all that.
I will go and talk with the people at the board of education and ask if there's something I can do soon.
I will try to get back here on Thursday or Friday next week.

I am a boy scout leader who takes care the Cub Scout section of a sea scout group in Vancouver, ie age 7-11, and I would like to see if you and I can do something together for the kids  My kids may love to say hi to yours~ 
I know Japan is having a hard time now... you know what, I was there in Tokyo when the earthquake happened! (I went there for a trip for a week) Instead of me going to help, I'd like to see if we can do something where kids can help kids.
