Excuse all the questions it's just that I can speak Japanese reasonably well and have often considered working as a dev in Japan.
1. Yes, all the projects that I've joined are all in Japanese.
2. I work for a Hakken(Contract) Company and they have a cut with my salary too. If you work for financial development the salary is really good but getting in is difficult and most of them does not have any japaese requirements.
3. I work minimum of 8 hours per day. It will also depend in which company you work for. Average working hours per month is 150 hours - 180 hours.
4. Not really. I do my best to deliver before deadline but there are still other things to consider like spec change, and other problems. And I usually give them my estimate. Sometimes there schedule is stupid and I tell them that.
5. I've done Java, C#.net and other language but majority of my work are in C/C++.
