I wouldn't fret. None of these kids will be able to make a life in Japan. They'll grow up and do whatever introverted kids do. If as many kids made it to Japan as they wanted, Japan wouldn't be as exclusive as it currently is.

When I first got to Japan I found out I was going to have to live with a bunch of other foreigners for a bit. I wasn't upset that I had to live with other foreigners; I was just afraid they'd all be weeaboos. Truthfully, only about 10 percent of them were. The rest of us were shocked and left scratching our heads, because all of us had imagined the same thing before coming to Japan. Then we finally realized, the reason why none of us were weeaboos is because we don't live in fantasy land and actually got our sh!t together to be able to move to Japan.


I'm not a cynic; I just like to play Devil's Advocate once in a while.
