I watched the pomp and circumstance of the previous one back in 1981. It helped I was within an hour of the time zone. I just don't have the same curiosity about this one. Perhaps I'm older and have become more cynical about royalty. Even in my home country, Spain, I just don't follow anything royal. I won't go and say it's obsolete, but the fanfare they engender is just not for me.
