As far as eating dog meat, these are not exactly golden retrievers they're serving. These are really small dogs that they raise like chickens. If you want to eat anything you could imagine, visit China. I will not go into the numerous "delicacies" one can have there.

As a side note, I really want to rent a puppy now. I wonder if you need insurance like renting a car.
