I new to this forum and finding this very interesting.

I want to discuss over the Spouse visa for immigration purpose in Japan. Before that I want to explain my case first.

Actually, I am going to marry a Japanese guy who is E visa holder and working in India. We are planning to get marry in month of January. His work permit is up till Feb only and after that both of us will be moving to Japan.
As per the Indian Marriage act, I need to register my marriage in court which requires couple of month and after acquiring the certificate duly signed by the registrars; I need to apply for spouse visa.

Here my problem comes; I don’t know the process whether and how will the things moves on. What are the documents and court or embassy etc.. Whether I need to hire the lawyer for this or I can do it myself.

Most importantly, the lead time require for the process. If it requires 5~6 months then I m out because here in India it will require 2~3 months for registration and all.

Can anyone help me over this? I appreciate a single small effort.
