This topic seems to be going of tangent a little.
My opinion!
Should Japan be allowed an armed force?
Yes...Everybody else has one.
Ultra-nationalism is a thing of the past century.
As for US bases in Japan (or other places) if both parties agree fair enough....but if not maybe the US should start paying rent at least.
