I've been interested in Japan and their culture since I was in 2nd grade (and I am now a Freshman College student--or will be in August). I don't think I really started to get into it until I was introduced to the movie Mulan and then later on Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, etc. etc. (and I'm highly aware that Mulan has nothing to do with the Japanese culture but I didn't know that at the time lol.) Video games came shortly after and I found myself obsessed with a lot of their music, manga, (some) Anime, and their J-RPGs.

Because of this, I've always had a huge fond of Japan and their culture, especially when I was in middle and high school and I started to learn more and more about them as well as become more interested in them and their mannerisims (and their language.)
