Apparently my last response was deleted. You 'hear' that the Japanese are rich, but not all are. And how does torn jeans equate to not being rich? Rockstars wear them all the time (although I'm not a rockstar). I buy almost all of my jeans ripped simply because I like the style. I've also stated this in my last post that I was born in the US, making me an
American.
It's funny how you 'hear' this and that about Japanese people and think all of them follow that standard. I'm surprised you didn't say anything about the fact that I have a lot of tattoos. That's usually what throws most people off more than the fact that I wear ripped jeans.
