In recent years, Japan and its people are more tolerant with freign visitors having a tatoo.
Though to live there, it can be another story. I am not worry about you finding a job as long as you have it covered, but the effect if you are being seen with the tatoo after getting a job there.
Unfortunately, that country still associate tatoo with the Yakuza and other different type of illegal activities. Imagine the shool that hired you, think about what they will do if the school operator sees you on the street with a short sleeve and exposed tatoo?
