I like it so much mainly because of the shrines, houses and forests. It has lovely countryside and the beach is nice to watch the sea
No problem. Hehe, yeah, that shrine is quite 'hidden'... you have to walk through many streets and a mountainside to find it. I read about it beforehand though, and so I knew what I was looking for
Wow, I haven't heard of that story before. I've heard of the shrine where your money is supposed to get more valuable, but not that one! Seems like it's best to visit if you're single eh ^^
Kamakura is the only place I have been to outside Tokyo so far, but if the rest of Japan is as beautiful as Kamakura, then I'm sure to love it all!
I'm not a surfer, but I've done lots of other watersports like scuba diving and water skiing. I enjoyed watching the many windsurfers on the beach though
