If you guys are saying that 「自分を信じ」 is in the imperative form, then that is
NOT correct. The imperative form is 「信じろ」 or 「信じよ」.
「自分を信じ」 , all by itself, is not easy to translate. The closest in nuance would be "Believing oneself".
It mainly has two usages:
1. Use it by itself for a song/poem title.
2. Follow it with another verb. 「自分を信じ行動せよ。」、「自分を信じボールを蹴( け)った」
