The kilt is still very much in use. Not as everyday wear, but still.... it is worn with pride at a special occasion e.g. wedding, celebration, international football match featuring Scotland. I'm sure the kimono is still very much in use, it seems wherever in the world you go, modernity appears to be overlapping the more traditional crafts
