Me helped a lot, reading English books or watching Movies and TV Series. But I missed it speaking or writing English more, that`s why I have troubles, use it correct. (But I hope writing here, will improve my English.)
You can also buy I book for grammar and so on. I think that`s also ok and you don`t need actually taking a course. (But course have the advance, that you have a teacher, who`s correcting you and you can also do excercises with others.)
If possible a language travel to an English-speaking country could help also a lot. Unfortunately it`s expensive.
