The time system sounds reasonable enough I guess...
I wanted to get a polaroid photo with one of the maids at the place I went, but in order to "be permitted" to take said photo I was told I need to complete 4 stamp cards!...4! You need to spend 20,000 Yen to complete one card. So it would take 80,000 Yen over a great many months before being allowed one polaroid photo. Ridic!
