Intro Japanese class bookwork, is it right? -

So, this an intro class so please don't correct mistakes with grammar I wouldn't most likely know yet. Also, I am bad with using katakana and kanji via the keyboard so I just wrote those portions in english in the sentence, but other than that, does this look right? If not please tell me why, and explain it.
I think I may have messed some cases of で and に usage, as well as sentence ordering maybe.

1. I went to a restaurant with a Japanese on Wednesday.
わたしは(wedesnday kanji)に(restaurant katakana)にいました (could i end it with いきまっした, too?)
2. I got up at about ten thirty last Friday.
わたしぁ(ten thirty kanji)に(friday kanji)におきました
3. I went to a temple alone Monday in February
わたしの(alone)は(february kanji or 2 + moon kanji)の(monday kanji)に(temple kanji)にいました
4. The many books were on the desk. But the photo was not under the money.
たくさん(book kanji)はつくえでした. でもしやしんは(money kanji, which is the kanji in Friady)のしたした
5. I met a person. He did not understand English at all.
わたしは(person kanji)あいました. (person kanji)はええがぜんせんをわかりません
6. I went shopping this week for about one hour.
わたしは(1 hour + about + goro/~ at end)にかいものにいました
7. I did not have class on Thursday.
わたしは(thursday kanji)に(class katakana)にありませんした
8. Did you take a photo in front of the temple.
あなたは(temple kanji)のまえでとりましたか
9. I waited for a friend outside the hospital.
わたしは(hospital katakana)にともだちのまえにまちました
10. There is a bus stop to the left of the hotel.
これはびよういんで(hotel katakana)のひだりです
