「だらけ」 is the key word here and I rarely see Japanese-learners use it. We use it VERY often. Its nuance is that there are "so many things" that you do not like/welcome.

「この文は知らない単語だらけで読めない。」

The 「で」 here means "with". "with so many things to look into"  
So it was simpler than I thought. Thank you for the explanation. Actually I was confused since I didn't know exactly what he was referring to with 調べること and 間に合わない. It seems I need to examine the context again.
