Alright, as not to derail this beautiful thread, I will be editing this post with one of my characters.

TATSU

The morning sun shined in through an opening in the curtain. Nozomi was still holding me tightly, her eyes closed shut. I turned my head her gaze at her, and witness the sight of her so near. I couldn't tell if she was more beautiful in her sleep then she was when she was awake. Her hair was as warm as ever, and she smelled of Gana's feathers. We both could use a bath. Gently, I removed her from me, and finally got up. I shuffled to the window and looked out. The sun was almost at the highest point. How long had I slept?! It was almost noon. "Nozomi wake up! We got go to the castle." I shook her but she still didn't stir. "Come on, it's time to go." She flipped over and mumbled: " I don't want to eat that, give me something better." Sigh she was definitely dreaming. No use wasting more time. I'll go see the King alone.
