Sailor Moon vs. DBZ
 

I have to admit, I was pretty mad when Dragon Ball Z first came out. As soon as Cartoon Network started showing DBZ, Sailor Moon went off the air. And that was the only way to watch it back then because there was no such thing as youtube. I've watched a few episodes of DBZ but I didn't really care for it. Sailor Moon was my first anime so I'm kinda attached to it. So what do you guys think? Sailor Moon or Dragon Ball Z? (it better be Sailor Moon!!!)

DBZ for sure sorry but it is awesome and sailor moon is cool too but not as good as DBZ

Awww that hurts... but oh well! haha I had a feeling most would be for DBZ anyways. But in the end, we shall prevail!!

Yeah I've heard it's good. But I've never read it. It's not available to us Americans. But maybe on ebay...

yeah i got it second hand from this japanese thing.. but it was really different to the anime...

So in your opinion the manga is better than the anime?

hell yeah! its a bit wierd but i dont get the feeling its for 10 year old girls

For me, Nothing beats DBZ. Best anime ever, I love it... I've been watching from when i was a baby. so you know! :D

But, its kinda stupid to compare these two. They are not similar in any way really

DBZ for sure, nevertheless, i also like Sailoor Moon, I used to watch it a lot when I was 10, I would like to see it again, I don't remember anything.

Hey, I used to watch it when I was 10, but now I'm a bit older, I'm 16.

DBZ I still watch it, it rocks :D

Sailor Moon and DBZ are kind of strange shows to compare ~ !

But I have to say DBZ, because that was basically my childhood and my first exposure to anime, which gets me to this place! But Sailor Moon is cute and fun too, and my first magical girl anime.

I have to pick Sailor Moon. I hate DBZ. Honestly. I'm not took much of a fan of Shonen stuff, so that kinda tells you why. xD I like the shojo-sparkles and bubbles and stuff. xD Not so much for the explosions and beating each others faces in. xD

Sailor Moon for me. Sorry to all DBZ fans. I mean, don't get me wrong, Dragonball Z is pretty cool too. It was the second anime I ever watched but Sailor Moon was the first for me. It was the first anime I ever started watching, thanks to my super special awesome cousin. :D

hahaha thanks for the replies! I do realize these animes are completely opposite and it seems ubsurd to compare them. But like I said, I wanted to know everyone's opinion since I tend to be biased. And to all you guys that replied to this, you're too funny! I already knew that you would pick DBZ. Oh and for all you DBZ and DB fans, I believe that there is a movie coming out in 2009 that's called Dragon Ball. It's not animated but has actually people portraying the cartoon characters. It should be interesting if you're into that kind of stuff.

Like the OP said, the shows can't be compared, imo. Given my choice, though, I'd have to go with Sailor Moon. It didn't consist of powering up for 20 episodes.:p

Now, if it was between Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon, I'd have chosen Dragon Ball.

Sailor Moon was and allways is kick ass and it was my first anime. I loved it before i knew what anime was.:vsign:

the first anime i ever saw was 'Samurai Pizza Cats'.... i think i was six years old... Sailor moon is awesomeness!!

Samurai Pizza Cats was a hilarious show. Wish that would get onto DVD or something. I'd like to watch more of Kyatto Ninden Teyandee too.

To be honest I think their both good in their own way. I'm both a Sailor Moon and DBZ fan. I like Sailor Moon for the cool transformations and outfits and I like DBZ for the hardcore action.

Though i'm sure they're both about the same amount of cool but I just love DBZ more.
