Sailor Moon was the one.! Haven't read any manga yet, so...but I'm planning to xD So I guess I'm already interested in that ^^

Definately Fruits Basket for both manga and anime. I've always been interested in it but not as much as when I watch/read fruits basket.

for me dragonballZ when i was about 7. it was my first real anime. first manga was shaman king and i liked that when i was 10 or so.

anime would definitely be Evangelion, in my opinion the best series ever created. then a few years later i found a manga called Crescent Moon, i havent even got the whole series of it yet.. but i really liked it so i got some more manga after that ^^;;

Ok, the very first anime I saw was um....Sailor Moon I think, or maybe Samurai Pizza Cats, or um Monkey Magic, or Monster Rancher, or Cardcaptors, or Dragon Ball Z, or um Tenchi the movie I really don't remember but I know my first manga was Kodomocha, Child's play then Jing the bandit king and then Ragnarok.

No manga or anime got me interested in anime or manga. It was my friend who drew great mangas. She showed me all her pictures and told me what shojo was and after a while I subcribed to shojo beat and I love it.

The very first anime I saw was Pokémon, when I was 6 or something.
I really liked the style and I was sooooo in love with that Anime ^^
That got me totally interested in anime and manga.

Sailor moon, Dragon ball Z and later Full metal alchemist in that order.

i got into anime first, so that was Full Metal Alchemist and Inuyasha (thank you Adult Swim!) XD
and for manga i would have to say Kare Kano :)
