Mangas turned into Animes
Sometimes when a manga is turned into an Anime it's really good, But on the other hand the anime is so different from the manga that sometimes you can't even tell it is the same thing. For example the manga "Darker than Black" is really good. In the manga it was a shojo then in the anime it became shounen (unbelievable:eek: ). What other animes do you think need to be changed back to the original manga?

Hm.. I think Hellsing , D.N.Angel , +- Gravitation and X-1999 ;.; the Manga is a lot better and in the animes I miss a many good parts <.<"" only in Gravitation is the music soooooo cool (from Sony ) hehe but they missed a lot parts X)

One thing is always certain when it comes to anime adapted from manga, there's always changes, wheter it's in the story, characters, etc.
Usually in the anime they cut story/situations from the manga and either end up before the manga ends or they make up a new and completely different ending, which in most cases is an absolutely non-sense ending. In my case I always try to get hold of the manga to see the differences from the anime version. |
IMO, Pretear had a terrible anime adaptation. It was annoying to me, and I didn't like the changes. I always expect changes since they are adaptations, but they changed too much around, like Sasame's character change.

Definitely X-1999...made me sad to watch the movie too. The movie goes by so fast, leaving out key parts of the story. Definitely not worth watching a second time.
