its a anime/manga. though the manga is somewhat different from the anime, it is a very sad yet ccompelling story. the main charachter is a 12-year old girl who loves to sing yet cant, becuase she has a tragic throat illness, that she absolutly refuses to take a operation on. she is in love with a boy that moved to america about 2 years from the present time in the stroy. true to her promise to him, she sets out to make her dream come true to become a singer. but what will happen to her if she wont get an operation on her throat that could cost her, her life?
