Why do you think copying discs is difficult?

When you buy a game, you own the disc the game comes on, but that doesn't mean you own the data on the game. If that were true you would own the data on EVERY game of the same name, and would have the right to do whatever you want with it.

but you don't. That's just logical in a digital world where data is intellectual property.

Trust me, I've seen what this greedy companies do for years, they even fined someone for 250.000$ for just pirating 8 songs. They just want your money, they don't care about legality and sh**.

Most of what is on Pirate Bay is illegal copies. Don't engage in illegal activities and you won't have your "privacy invaded". (Am I the only one that sees the irony in that complaint?)

But I asked you to specifically show what illegal activities Nintendo is engaging in.

So that is your reason to use illegal means? Bragging me about how I illegaly get things and then illegaly invade my privacy? Amd I the only one who see the hypocrisy here?

I was talking in general, not just Nintendo. Please read.

Also, this might be interesting for you and your 'winning attitude' towards the 'stealing' word concern. I think there is no need to debate anymore about it. It's clear that it's no stealing, unless you think your 'legal courts' are wrong this time?

If Pirate Bay is keeping your info and invading your piracy, that's not Nintendo's fault. They are not taking my info, because I don't use Pirate Bay.

You said Nintendo's name specifically, so I am asking you to show, for the third time, how they illegally protect their intellectual property.

There's a word for taking something that isn't yours and not paying for it. You may choose to use a different word than me, but it still is what it is.

Real-time sharing can be logged and companies do not ask for permission to track stuff. If it was that way TPB would never allow. Also you skipped the ISP issue.

I give up... it's not about choosing the word, you are saying they steal while they don't. Don't come at me with 'I like to call it stealing' crap.

MMM 07-23-2009 11:26 PM

Listen, if you are taking something that isn't yours, I think you give up the right to complain if someone is invading your privacy.

Yes, you buy the disc and the right to play the game, but the data on the disc still belongs to the maker. Just like I cannot buy a CD and burn copies and pass them out. The rights to the data are not part of the purchase.
