I read Naruto before the anime hit America, as well. I only liked the first couple issues, but other than that I dislike it.
Used to obsess over Furuba a couple years ago. I got over it, though. Box set, CD, trading cards, 3D poster, plushies, keychains, manga, you name it.

I think my choice is obvious. ;D

Fruits Basket, cause well naruto SUCKS!

You can't really compare these two manga/animes because they're totally diferent genres! I mean ones a Action packed shonen, and the others a lovey Shojo. Its like Apples and Oranges, they just can't be compared. ^^;

I like them both for what they are.

I prefer Fruits over Naruto but I'm not a huge fan.

i don't really like any of them, but naruto wins by 1% over fruit basket. although i prefer none of them.
