Anyone have any suggestions? I know that NANA is the most popular and I also read Othello. Are there any other books?

Um, FLCL has a lot of old rock references. Not sure that'd help much though.

Also, Cowboy Bebop is good for jazz, considering bebop is a type of jazz. x]

I have yet to read Beck but it has earned loads of praise. I might. I have read FLCL but it makes my head hurt. Too random.

They're good suggestions music-themed generally, but aren't exactly rock and roll music themed series hun
