For manga look up the line up in shojo beat[vampire knight, sand cronicles, crimson hero, honey and clover, haruka, honey hunt]. If you like weirder manga like thrillers or psycological try the adaptation of the ring and mushi shi. sports manga try prince of tennis or eyeshield 21. shonen ai try loveless or gravitation. ummm uber hyper cute manga try fall in love like a comic or anything by arina tanemura. bleach[shimigami and spirit power and monsters] naruto[you should know but ninjas and crazy ninja things like that] and deathnote[very inteletual, action, dark, another pyscological one] are good as well. cute romance; there are a lot of manga published under shojo beat and tokyo pop. NANA is my favorite manga. azu manga dayou is good manga and the anime.

For anime try hayao miazaki films. anime series its really all up to what genre your looking for.

Meitantei Conan (Case Closed)! I love this one, you can begin with which ever one of them you like, it doesn't really matter. Which suits me, since manga isn't really readily available i my area, and when I do get hold of this manga, it usually isn't the continuation of the last book.

1. DBZ (the one and almighty :mtongue: )

2. Akira - excellent movie in my opinion.

3. Shinzo

I thought Shaman King and Pokemon (lol) were really nice. Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Ho and DBZ were one of these serieses I saw as a child (6-13) and loved every minute of.

I'm really getting to like Kizuki Akira's, Kawashita Mizuki, SogabeToshinori's art work. Most anything written/drawn by them I'd recommend although some of their works contain questionable content.

Patlabor is by far my favorite.
Cowboy Bebop and Serial Experiment Lain are a very close second.

Oh, where does one begin?! TTvTT

Well, the whole story is DOWNRIGHT HEARTBREAKING.

I began to watch Clannad with one personality, but after crying 7 times in from series 1 to the end of series 2, my outlook on life changed. That's very powerful for an anime, and you know it.

Clannad throws in little bits of humor, but when it comes right down to it, the message is something like 'family is not linked by only blood, it's linked by tears and joy'.

The story has amazing character development, as Furukawa Nagisa certainly proves. She blossoms more and more throughout the series, and the viewers don't need the subtle hints given by the characters about how she grows into a beautiful woman.

Also, the graphics are amazing. Key has once again exceeded our expectations, and crossed the line from beautiful to no words.

It's without a doubt, Death Note ^^
