I found this essay on live Journal, horrible paragraphing and grammar but there is some sense to it.

I read the first paragraph, but I have no idea what this is talking about. I didn't have Pokemon as a child, so my childhood won't be affected.

I read some of it...I find it rather disturbing, even though I never actually watched much of pokemon

It's so CLEAR now. I see the series perfectly *is dazzled*

I could really see that as being the hidden meaning behind Pokemon.

But after they threw in Ash's homosexuality and him being a girl in real life, it utterly confused me, and allowed me to exit from that hypothesis. x]

Where did the homosexuality come from? Is that really in the show or did the author of that article just make it up?

didnt you read the title of the thread? or dont you know the meaning of the words hypothetical and theory?

sorry if it sounds mean but I'm just wondering....

He has been talking about other elements from the show and stated something about Ash being homosexual. I didn't know if the author was just making it up or it was something along the lines of Dumbledore possibly being homosexual.

it's a hypothetical theory by a person who has watched/watches pokemon. It has nothing to do with the creators and it's just their opinion and how they interpreted it in their own twisted way.

I like how it all flows and is written in such a sociological manner. But in reality, it's a bullshit. As i have said.

The writer of this essay bullshits very well.

Bullshit or not, it's a nice/creepy way to look at the show xP

Yes it was interesting and yes, I have to agree with the the 1st poster after it on that site--someone has too much time on there hands and minds to be able to compose it. LOL

I only read the beginning and already now I feel like ONE person in this world understands me...

I just finished watching half of the first episode of Pokemon (that article got me in the mood to rewatch parts of it)

Makes me sad to think that he's dreaming it all!! T_T

Would be a pretty sweet dream though.

I always thought that Pokemon subconsciously supported animal fighting.

My bro had a theory about pokemon.. more about the games than the anime but actually quite rational, posed some interesting questions.

1) don't you find it funny how pokemon don't eat in the anime? only captured pokemon eat brocks magical food. If wild pokemon eat, some carnivorus pokemon must hunt, their pokedex game entrys say so, but they dont all just eat conveniently placed berries.

2) explains why theres no natural animals around, pokemon ate them.

3) pokemon never need to use the bathroom, probs for the best. Pigeot is over 6ft tall, can you imagine the size of its droppings? LOOK OUT!

4) 90% of water pokemon would be useless outside of battling in water, all pokemon that arent water types would be rubbish in water batters.. probably drown.

5) you wouldnt be able to have pokemon battles becase RSPCA or some animal protection agency would drop a brick on you.

Theres more but i cant remember.. we had this conversation 10 years ago over a crate of beer and pokemon red and blue versions.
