Alright, so I don't understand why some people don't like the new pokemon shows.

(Diamond and Pearl, battle frontier, etc)

If you are a true Pokemon fan you will still like it no matter what.

I mean, I miss Misty, sort of. And the new team rocket intro is really gay. BUT STILL.

I STILL WATCH IT.

I actually quite enjoy it.

I want to know why people don't like the newer episodes.

I think the Pokemon fad has in the West has disappeared, Izzysparkle. I like Pokemon myself, but I don't want there to be any more Pokemon, because it just gets too much to count. I've always found the video games (including the latest ones) more enjoyable than the anime and the merchandise and everything else. Even Pokemon fans themselves are getting bored with the new shows, and again, the franchise probably has had it's glory days. Not to mention there are far too many Pokemon to catch and remember now. That's why I guess.

i have to say pokemon rocks... but the new pokemmon are ugly.... A friend of mine even said she saw a pokemon that looks like a fridge :S

found pokemon red for the gameboy advanced again.... my addiction is back!

i totally love poke'mon still....omg i still remember the first episode i ever watched(AND I WAS ONLY FOUR!!)...but yeah i my addiction with japan started even before i knew it..heh...ong i remember i always used to think that the onigiri that brock always made were donuts!!...heh..*reminicing....oh, but all these new games on pokemon...i personally prefer the old ones with the bad graphics....

i would still watch it if they kept the voices from the first one but i just hate the voices now.

their ok. i just used to watch the first seasons when i was younger. that stupid pokemon intro song gets stuck in my head also

I odn't like the newer ones because I liked the older ones...tryin to remember all the new pokemon confuse me...though I am now a pokemon XD

I sneezed and it sounded funny (always does) and my friend was like "What was that? it sounded like a new pokemon" 'whats my name then haha' "adieu (sp?) cus that's what it sounded like" haha...good times

I feel that the new episodes lack a certian flair that the old ones had... Then again I was ten when it first came out. lol. But I still buy the games and watch the show with my little brother and am proud to say that i know by memory almost all of the 493 pokemon there are in the world now. btw i would LOVE to have a Dragonair and Arcainine till this very day!

For me, it's just not the same, then again, Pokemon stopped being shown here back in 1999, and a friend taped eps for me, so I only got to see the first two seasons fully. They just started it back up a few years ago, to my knowledge, on Cartoon Network, so I missed out on a lot. Just by the time it game back, I just wasn't into the series anymore and it's not just the anime, I started to get bored of the games too. Got a bit bored of them after Gold/Silver/Stadium II. I've played some of the newer games, when I get in the mood to try something new, but not much worth talking about.

Maybe if the anime went back to the show's original premise...somewhat, I could get back into it. I kinda miss when it was just 150 and Mew (151). I wish the story could get a bit darker, like in the games, where TR is concerned, but I know that's not happening. I wish the anime could end, cause I feel that the show would have a really interesting one, which would probably include the return of most of those he's met on his travels. Of course, I know this is never going to happen at the rate it's going. As long as Nintendo keeps putting out games, Japan'll always have something to pull from for the animated series.

Pokemon, to me, is the same as Sentai in Japan...both are hugely popular, and show no signs of dying off anytime soon.

i have a question.he new episodes, has pikachu evolved? my nephew had it on and ash was with a raichu

*Listening to Mezase Pokemon Master* I sometimes wish I could go back 10 years to when I first got into Pokemon.:p I really miss those days. I was probably too old for it (was still in 11th grade when I first got into it [1998]), but I still loved it.
