I hate Clamp.
I don't think they should be allowed to draw manga.
Im fine with the storys some are ok.
But the drawings are disgusting.
The women are always pretty much crying and the guys always have ugly wide shoulders and look like chicks and have small mouths and triangle heads. Like actual trainges and pointy chins ARGHGHH CLAMP.

I just love CLAMP with a passion.

CLAMP is my favorite manga/anime artist. I'm trying to get almost all of their works. Chobits and Card Captor Sakura are my favorite :lovecat:

well,everyone has different opinions.. but i think clamp's style have some..recognizability value..dont know wether its the right word for this..but what i mean is..u see the manga and see,its by clamp..and their drawings are really detailed i think^^ but u are right,e.g their charas often looks a bit weird..with their long legs xDD
i really like their mangas and animes^^ especially chobits,xxxholic,x...

It's not completely terrible, but yes.. its a very basic manga style. Some other mangas use more complex shapes and more fluent lines to describe the characters, but I like to assume that Clamp is directed towards those who like the traditional manga style. Personally, I like a more realistic style like the one used in Studio Ghibli's "Ocean Waves" even though I disliked the actual anime movie itself. Really, it's just a matter of preference. If it's not your style that's fine, haha. But it doesn't mean it sucks. ^^

also, you might want to look into Chobits, it's by Clamp but the art is quite a bit different and the lines and proportions are much more fluent than rigid as you see in the original Tsubasa Chronicles and such. ^^
