I know exactly what you mean. I could never get into the manga and it was so predictable. I dont know why so many people loved it.

Clearly none of you have ever endured an evening of Anime Weekend Atlanta's Anime Hell.

There are far worse examples of anime than have been mentioned here.

Well, I liked the Fullmetal Alchemist series, that is, until I starting reading the manga. Never realized just how bad it strayed from the actual plot of the story. The original FMA has almost nothing to do with the plot of the manga. That's why I like Brotherhood better by a LONNNNNG shot.

Hmm.. I liked Vampire knight. Well, I think it could be much better when it´s so popular but it isn´t a bad anime :) Probably individual.

The worst, in my opinion, is Fullmetal Alchemist.
I know almost everyone loves this anime, but it's much depressive.
