Your country was made by europeans, you copied our law structure and our academics. USA isn't all that great, just immigartion. And Brazil have given the world some amazing football to watch and have a fast growing economy, also they have stunnin' ladies and atleast they have a culture. :vsign:

Anyway, Anime is seen as a cartoon here too. If you say anime the people who are ignorant will either say, "pokemon *laughs*" or "Dragonball Z....*laughs*" and say it's for kids. But I don't care, I laugh at them, since they're the ones missin' out. :D

The nazis would have made the A-bomb months before USA if it wasn't for a small group of Norwegians sinking a ship packed full of Heavy Water. If you ask me, USA did little to end the war in Europe. you came in right at the end after Germany was already crippled due to years of war. Russia did most of the dirty work. But back to the topic.

really?i thought japan was more powerful than america considering the fact tht most of americas technology came from japan.. the only reason america is so damn rich is for example:
they take an ipod and sell it here for like 2 years and make millions of dollars and bring in a new item to america tht was like old in japan... japan has advanced technology we dont even kno about bcus all america cares for is money so they sell techno to us slow!!! the japanese ppl had ipods bfor us.. if u look at some anime in like 2005 to 2004 or somewer bfor ipods existed in america, u can find tht the anime already had ipods!! how unfair is america?! and my friend, WHO HAVE TECHNO, even say tht the japanese suck! and tht anime is plain cartoon!! well let me tell u one thing, anime is just like technology if u compare it.. anime is advaced! its not cartoon! cartoons r usually drawn by the ppl of america and its not drawn as well as anime! ugh.. i hate it wen ppl in my school mock me for watching anime and thinking japan is sooo kool... i HATE those ppl!

im a big fan of anime, but im getting into more of the japanese stuff than just anime so i barely watch it now XD

mostly americans, africans, and mexicans dont watch anime... these r results from my school...

usually asians watch it... its more of an asian thing and im glad to hear tht more of the non-asians r begining to watch anime.. it isnt cartoon and u may think at first tht it isnt kool, but hey, who said tht ALL anime wer awesome?!
ther r some bad and some good anime, just watch the recomended ones and im sure ull love it.. im sure 75% of the ppl tht said tht anime sucks either tried horrible anime or didnt even try it at all...

that is the risk you take but your not out much if it is a bad one.. what you waste an hour or so? And you are right they arnt really cartoons... persay .. they are more adult oriented than that (at least the ones I watch). I wouldnt reccommend the anime ive seen to children and children watch cartoons so i guess that is my logic... i dunno. I just cant compare spongebob or whatever to Lain or speed grapher

true.... it seems both immature and mature watch it though. I find there are many types of anime conasuers(sp?). There is:
The philosophical: Those who find religious or life meaning in pretty much every series and must enlighten you.

The Immature: Those who avidly watch all things labeled anime and consume more than their weight in Japanese candy just because its japanese.... also tend to be socially challenged mostly young children.

The closet watcher: Those who watch anime but are afraid to admit it to friend and family because they still view it in a negative context.

The Ero Watcher: Those who watch for sexual excitment and research all things hentai echii and so forth.

But watching something isnt a trademark of who a person is. There are people who act like a hippo on crack but they are in every group of people. You think based on what? What makes something cool? It is your own personal opinion slightly influenced by those around you. So what you like and what someone else may like is different that doesn't make you a loser and it doesn't make anyone else a loser. That goes for anything though. If you like sports and everyone else didnt that doesn't mean you are a loser that means you have different interests it is what makes people unique. Also I doubt that anime is a reason Japanese hate americans. If they are gunna hate us it is going to be one of our hundreds of other flaws not what we watch on t.v.
