Questions about the Code Geass ending [spoilers]
 

I have just finished watching both seasons of Code Geass and just want to discuss the ending with some people (I'm not a major anime watcher so I rarely get so into this, but I really enjoyed it and want to talk some). Also I searched but couldn't find a recent topic discussing this so I hope this topic is okay.

Also I said this in the title but here's is a spoiler warning.







Do you think Karen realised the world peace was all part of Lelouch's plan in the end?

Also is there any more to the story (through novels or manga etc.) that I should look into?

I'm guessing you're talking about Kallen and since you called her Karen I'm guessing you watched with subs. I don't know kind of quallity of subs were, but in the dub version she clearly says that she realized Lelouch's true intentions and has forgiven him.

I warned you...

That guy driving the cart is Lelouch (although they don't out-right say it) but he has the same color eyes and hair as lulu. And Lelouch should still be alive after getting stabbed by Suzaku cuz he had Geass in both eyes (like Charles... remember how he couldn't be killed when Lelouch shot him with the gun?) And I think Kallen was trying to stop "Zero" from killing him at the end...

Well... that's my theory at least..

The Geass power didn't make Charles immortal, he became like CC and VV

Lelouch is alive. When Charles died he transferred his Code to Lelouch (which just obtained the requirements for the transfer, having Geass on both his eyes). Thus he obtained immortality. Immortality is only activated when someone with a Code dies (as seen with Charles, when Lelouch shoots him). you can see it clearly that Suzaku did not know about it, only C.C. and Jeremiah.

It's more clear when Nunnally touches Lelouch before he dies. His thoughts are transferred to her. Telepathy is something we have seen happening only with C.C.! It means Lelouch became like her.

Also in the end C.C. moves her head and calls Lelouch, as if the cart rider was him.

;D He's alive but his story ended. In a quite good way.
