well i will have to disagree on this, most of miyazaki's work are superb!
u should check spirited away, castle in the sky, totoro, Howl's Moving Castle and Conan, The Boy of The Future.

however, i agree with the yugioh part... and i used to watch it *_*

seen howl's and spirited away...didn't care for them

I quite like yu-gi-oh! and pokemon :o

So do I! I like Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon.

Yu-gi-oh and pokemon aren't to bad...I like the old Yu-gi-oh better then the new GX.:p Actually, Hikaru no Go is one of my favorites. It has lots of strategy and is done by the same artist as Death Note!:D

Well, I know some people like it, but I have never liked DBZ, so I would not recommend it.:p

Yugioh is alright just a little redundant.

WHAT?!?!?! I'm like the most hardcore dragonball z fan you'll find so I'll have to disagree with you on that one, I can't think of any animes I dislike, but (Dunno if this counts) the dubbed Naruto is brutally horrible

i'd have to agree with you there...and shaman king..and duel masters....

i also wouldn't recommend hamtaro << or any other anime where the main character is a pet

I would not recommend SD Gundam.

I agree. That is the only Gundam anything that I didn't like and trust me I like Gundam.

all Shaman King was was a ripoff of every other game/duel anime out there....at least it didn't take it as far as Duel Masters, which was actually making fun of itself

hush...the only thing i like about duel masters was the constant making fun of itself (i found Mimi downright creepy...DDs on a 13 year old? wtf?)

OMG, i liked Witch huter Robin, I know the ending wasnt very good but it had a great story that made me think.

you didn't like the Samurai X movie? i've seen some clips of it, and i thought it looked badass...much better than the series (but then, i usually prefer my anime to be hardcore bloodfests)

No Samurai X is unbelievably awesome ! I am talking about the Rurouni Kenshin movie. When it starts on a train with Yahiko, Kaoru, and all them. It is in the same style as the Rurouni Kenshin show (which I didn't really care for either. I thought the show was a bit too silly, and should have been more serious.) the endin made me mad i dn tlky it wen things get good in it then wen it all comes down to the end it leaves u thinkin lyk "WTF?!"
its lyk u wachd it jus to see it end so crappy-trust me it was great at first then it jus fell apart

Which reminds me, Evangelion.... i know lots of people liked it but i have to say... i hated it towards the end.. it got to weird and his voice and constant whine.. it was like watching Gundam Seed with kira crying only i liked Gundam seed...

I liked parts of Gumdam Seed, i only used to watch it because it came on before adult swim. I like parts but kira's crying and not wanting to live up to his duties... it would be like if Spike from cowboy bebop all of a sudden truned into a scared little girl. You wouldnt like the show much then if Spike cried all the time not want to catch people, but its his job...

so kira's job was to cry?

Kill or be Killed. Julia's Character made me sad. She was in love with spike but willing to kill him to save herself. I say that if you loved someone with all your heart you would die for them.. not kil them to save yourself. She betrayed poor spike in the end. Spike would have been way better off without her. the whole fact that he waited for her.. and she never came... he should have moved on.
