Taiyo no Mokushiroku -

Severl years ago, there was a Manga (And a tv anime series of the same name) called "Taiyo no Mokushiroku", its dubbed as "A Spirit of the Sun"
The story started with a 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Honshu, triggering a series of event, including the eruption of Mt Fuji, and subsequently splitting Japan in half from Toyama to Osaka. The story revolves around people's life and struggle after this.
If you have seen this before, what are your thoughts given the event with the earthquake off of Fukushima last week?
