A series that caught my eye [and is only 25 or something episodes, so requires little commitment] is Air Gear. Its a specific taste, but if you like the first few episodes, you'll love the rest.

Theres also the Manga to go along with it which carries the story onwards, and develops the episodes in more detail. Volume 5 is out in the UK tomorow :D

Air Treks, or AT's :)

Its very modern looking and includes some nice special effects and a varied cast of characters and plot twists.

The overall story, however, is quite simple. Ikki [the main character] decides to get some AT's. After using them, he has great tallent to be discovered, and gets into battles with other gangs of AT riders called Storm Riders.

At first he decides to try and join a team with a girl he likes in it, and then his sisters team, but ultimately, he makes his own team and tries to accend to the position of King Of The SkyRoad, the ultimate road of the AT. Combat, romance, friendships, twists and action insue..... its great :mtongue:

but i remembered there are many types of road and there is a girl who work as Ikki's mechanic (or something like that, sorry) and the some special AT's can have special skill or something, right?

There are 9 roads. They each have kings assigned to them, but this is only majorly covered in the Manga, but is tapped on in the anime. The roads are:
Storm
Flame
Wind
Thunder
Fang
Thorn
Rumble
Pledge
and Gem

The road kings each have regalia which give their AT's special powers. The rumble regalia takes in air much faster than other AT's can, and allows for long jumps and high speeds rather quickly. The fang regalia can create gusts of air to ride on.

The girl Ikki likes [simca] works at a mechanic shop, but this is only covered in the manga i think. :)
