There are certainly some very talented English speakers in Japan, and I bet a majority live in Tokyo, but in no way, shape, or form is anywhere near the majority of Japanese people fluent in English.

Hell, the majority of Japanese ENGLISH TEACHERS aren't fluent in English.

And, Ferrari, Japanese study a lot longer than two years of English, though you would never know it by talking to most of them.

The problem isn't the people, it's the education system. It's getting better, but since there is basically a moratorium on hiring and training new teachers, things really can't improve. At least they have started teaching in in elementary school now.

ok, sorry. You phrased it kind of funny, so I wasn't sure what you were saying. But I get it now.

Alright, I'll keep that in mind

*Headdesk* This is like saying video games inspire people to kill others. The people who do something violent after watching anime/playing video games already have something wrong with them (like they've got depression or something). And anime/video games are just a form of entertainment, so if they get more violent from seeing these things they shouldn't be watching/playing them in the first place.

School Days was also pulled before the season(series?) finale, on TV Kanagawa. Instead they played classical music the full hour. Other TV stations also pulled the program, until AT-X finnaly aired it on September 27.

So what does everyone think about this? Will this lead to more controversy in violant anime? Will there be more censorship? Should/can we blame violant anime (and other medium) for real life violants? I personaly, dont think violant anime (or any other medium) has anything to do with the incedent (or any other crime) but I do see why these episodes were delayed; it would be very distastefull to air them. Any other opinions on this subject?
sounds right.but many killers are made from many different things in their enviroment. their was a murder around my area where a young boy gunned down his father and his fathers friend with a shotgun for no reason at all. anyone heard about the guy who drove through Akihabara with a military knife sticking out of the truck, killing alot of people. i read the article in "gamer" or something back in October 08'. i think some of the violent anime like that can cause people to imitate it. especially school days, what a F****ed up anime.
