i use that site me too, it's great! First of all for the kanji list.. for the verb i also go to jpverbs. About the pronunciation it's not so different from the italian sounds, so luckily i've not a lot of problems in learning it
Ah, i also use njstar, it's an editor with a great vocabulary as well |

The best freeware program for learning japanese is undoubtfully WaKan WaKan Project Website - About. It has an excellent dictionary, and the most interesting feature is the "translator": copy&paste a text into the editor, and you're just a click away from having furigana written over all the kanjis...
