Lesson 1, phrases Okay; good morning is huomenta or hyvää huomenta If you want to say good morning politely, use hyvää(good) huomenta If you want to say less politely, you use "huomenta". So, most of people here are using that huomenta more. Then, good night is Hyväägood yötänight. But, yötä doesn't mean night. It's like I admired that night. Was that right?! :-D Straight translation: Night=Yö. Day=Päivä. So, let's have a small conversation in Finnish: Let us suppose that girl called X and boy called Y are coming from movie theater. X didn't like the movie, but Y loved it. X thinks that movie was too scary, but Y thinks that bloody and scary horror movies are the best movies ever. After that, they're going to eat something.(I separated areas, so they're easier to read! :3) X: Voi hyvä jumala! Tuo elokuva oli todella pelottava! Oh my god! That moviewas so scary! Y: Minusta(Minun mielestäni) se oli melkein paras elokuva jonka olen koskaan nähnyt. I think it was almost the best movie i've ever seen X: Hei, Y, haluatko mennä syömään jotakin?NOTE: Haluatko= Do you want. Basic form=haluta=want. Hey, Y, do you want to go eat something? Y: Toki. Minne? Sure. Where? X: Miten olisi sushi ravintola? What about sushi restaurant? Y: Se olisi mahtavaa(/or mukavaa)! En ole koskaan[ennen] kokeillut sushia. That would be cool(/or nice)! I've never tried sushi[before]. X: Sushi on hyvää! Sushi is good! NOTE: Hyvä=Good. "Hyvää" is like in sentence This sushi is good So...i separated areas, that it's easier to read and learn something about this text. That one spot is not coloured with any colour, but i think it's so easy, beacuse the order doesn't change everytime...I'm so so so so so so so sorry if something was wrong...I hope that this helps^^ NOTE FOR NEXT TIME: You can make a wish what you want me to teach next time!! :3 |
