My theory on learnign another language is to learn it directly through total emersion. Whether that be through computer aid or through having a friend who is fluent. I am fluent in english becuase it is my first and only language currently. And I would be honored to help anyone who is struggling with English.
Life has its own beat. Learn to dance to it even when its not comfortable. You learn by doing and seeing, not just by hearing. You must act to do, you must, move to feel.
