Yes it would be great if the profits of the exhibitions would go back the country of origin for medical charity work. Although that is rarley going to happen.

wait.. how would that work? I thought the museums bought the bodies.
wouldn't that mean they have like.. you know, full ownership?
I don't really like the idea of buying dead bodies (though tyrien makes a good point), but if they own them, then why would they have to give more money for something else? That just doesn't make sense..

No the musems do not buy the bodies. Is the company that is bringing it such as Body Worlds a traveling exhibition.

Those bodies were handed over.
Not the scientist fault, it's the governments for not taking proper care of them and letting them go to that.
A scientist will take what they can get.

The Chinese goverment is actually against the distribution of dead bodies. Some people do it in what is called the body black market. If any person is found being a part of it, they can be put in jail.

Here is the full story if you wish to read it.

Then the bodies should have been taken care of in the first place.

Yeah I have to agree with you there. It's not the scientists fault, personally I think it's awesome and it's amazing to see how the human body works. Those prisoners would have just been thrown in the bin, basically, like someone previously said. They might aswell be put to some medical use.

Besides, it does say, 'There is no hard evidence that executed prisoners' bodies ended up in Premier's exhibits' But it seems they are doing an enquiry in to where they are actually coming from, so we'll probably see later on.

Unless you can prove that you defrauded when receiving illegal goods, you are legally liable. Therefore all assets, whether directly related to the crime or not can be seized, because you are a defacto accessory to the crime commited.
